On Sunday, March 14, 2010, the OHCC 13 year old boys basketball team played their last game of the season and won the City Championship Finals game.

With coaches, Claude Proulx, Michael Wenham and Marc Collier, the boys defeated the #1 seeded team,
the Norberry Knights, in a nail-biting game, with a final score of 33 to 31.

With the score being tied up, 31 to 31, and with less than 10 seconds left in the game, Joseph Proulx sunk the winning basket. As the boys rushed back to defend their basket they were able to prevent any other points from being scored therefore winning the game.

All the boys played well and everyone had a lot of fun including the parents cheering for all the boys.

Each player received a winning medal from the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA) and the championship banner will be put on display in the OHCC gym.
